Panelists:

  • Krisztina Bende – PKO Bank Polski
    Seasoned investment banker specializing in public and private market transactions. Currently, she leads financial advisory services for ECM, M&A, and Corporate Finance transactions within the Brokerage Office at PKO Bank Polski’s Corporate and Investment Banking division. Over the years, she has successfully managed numerous transactions across various sectors, including retail and e-commerce, real estate, tech, and biotech companies, often involving cross-border aspects. On the public market, she has led some of the largest IPOs in Poland, including Żabka, Allegro, and Pepco.
  • Piotr Bogus – Polski Fundusz Rozwoju (PFR)
    Managing Director of the Investment Division at the Polish Development Fund. An experienced investment manager with nearly 20 years of experience at leading international and domestic institutions. His career spans a broad range of equity, debt, infrastructure, fund-of-funds, and secondaries transactions in Europe, the United States, and South America. Before joining PFR, Piotr served as Director of Planning and Analysis at PGE Group and gained private equity experience at Neuberger Berman in London and Innova Capital. He started his career in strategic consulting firms such as Roland Berger and A.T. Kearney. Piotr is also a member of the supervisory boards of several portfolio companies.
  • Rafał Alasa, CFA – Value4Capital
    Partner at Value4Capital, a lower mid-market private equity fund focusing on service companies in Poland, Romania, and other Central European markets. He joined the firm in 2012, building on his earlier roles in investment banking. He specializes in deal sourcing and execution, managing the fund’s portfolio, and exits, having worked with V4C portfolio companies such as home.pl, Kom-Eko, Summa Linguae, and Shoper.

Career Paths in M&A and Capital Markets – Perspectives and Challenges

Panelists:

  • Magdalena Śniegocka – CVI
    Magdalena has over 15 years of international experience in executing investments, portfolio oversight, corporate finance, and transaction advisory. Throughout her career, she has completed transactions on public and private markets valued at over EUR 13 billion. Currently, Magdalena is responsible for execution and monitoring of private debt investments and serves as a member of the investment committee at CVI, an asset manager with nearly EUR 1 billion in AUM. Prior to CVI, she gained investment banking experience at Lehman Brothers and Nomura in London, and later she led the Corporate Finance division at Kulczyk Investments. Magdalena holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESCP Europe, studying in London, Madrid, and Paris. She also graduated from the Poznań University of Economics and Harvard Business School (PLD).
  • Barbara Redzisz – American Heart of Poland
    Professional in the healthcare sector with a strong foundation in M&A advisory. In her current role at the American Heart of Poland, she directly supports the Management Board on strategic initiatives, leveraging her expertise to deliver impactful results and drive operational success. Barbara’s previous experience includes roles in M&A teams at PwC and EY, as well as an investment banking placement at Rothschild & Co., where she built a solid foundation in financial analysis and transaction advisory.
  • Karol Bąk – Amber Infrastructure
    Investment Associate at Amber Infrastructure, specializing in projects under the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund (3SIIF) in the renewable energy and transport sectors. Previously, he gained experience at the Polish Development Fund (PFR), working in the Investment Department, as well as at advisory firms DC Advisory and Bastion Group.
  • Prof. NU Franjo Mlinaric, PhD – Kozminski University
    Experienced lecturer and consultant with international expertise in both private and public sectors. Since 2007, he has been teaching M&A in two prestigious Master’s programs at Kozminski University. Franjo combines academic principles with consulting experience in an international environment and is passionate about promoting and implementing sustainable business models.
